My personal experiences with sharks
I have loved sharks ever since my life began. To me, they have remained fascinating creatures, and I know that even with their menacing look and pointy teeth, they probably don't mean to be 'evil'. They simply hunt to stay alive. Do you eat food? That is harming plants and animals. I bet if sharks had a chance to slack off and eat nothing, no hunting, just relaxation, they would probably take it. Most peple fear or hate sharks; mark my word, I an scared of them too, but at the same time fascinated by them. Only mother nature created the top predators on Earth; the shark. I too have heard shark attack stories like Mr. Rodney Fox and Mrs. Bethany Hamilton, and I feel horrible for them. That can't stop my desire for sharks though. I admire their courage, for both of them hit the waves of the Big Blue shortly after the attack. I have also been inspired by great authors lik Peter Benchley (the author of Jaws), E. J. Altbacker (the author of Shark Wars), and Jules Verne (the author of 20,000 leagues under the sea). Now, I am writing my own book, too.
GREAT WHITE SHARKS
THE REASON I DON'T LIKE GREAT WHITES
Although great Whites are the most known, most feared of, and very large, I just don't like them. That is really all I can talk about with my friends, besides the Hammerhead shark which is also famous, but interesting in a way. I don't like the image of a 20-foot shark with serrated teeth and holes in it's gums, chasing a tiny seal around. That thought just disturbs me. Blue sharks eat seals too, but they only get up to around 7-10 feet (see picture on the top of this page). Great whites are just huge. I mean it, really do. Being four foot seven, standing next to a 22 foot great white is really not a pleasant sight. Have you ever went to the aquarium where you live and looked at those tiny three foot sharks that resemble a nice, almost cute look? Probably so. Have you ever been to an aquarium that swarmed with monsters larger than all of your family combined? Probably not. Some sharks give clean bites, slash clean cuts, or eat krill. Great whites are always blood, blood, blood, blood, exc.
